| Outdoor Leader Skills for Webelos Leaders
Designed specifically for the Webelos den leader and their assistants, Outdoor Leader Skills for Webelos Leaders teaches skills through demonstration and hands-on practice. It also prepares the leader to conduct Webelos overnight camping with the boys and parents of the den. In addition to covering basic camping skills, this training features planning campouts and finding resources. This training is required by the Heart of Ohio Council Camping Policy before being permitted to take a Webelos Den camping. Wear your Uniform and personal gear for overnight. Bring: Webelos Leader Book, a Webelos Handbook the Guide to Safe Scouting and a Pocket Knife. It is recommended that you complete Webelos Leader Fast Start and Webelos Den Leader Specific training prior to attending. Come prepared for the Weather! Half of this training will be outside.
